I've always been a creative. A lover of art, music, nature, culture & history. My studies began with trips to museums, treks to the library for fresh stacks of books, days lost outdoors foraging for plant specimens and animal tracks, and countless hours spent with pencil or paintbrush in hand. With a fine art degree under my belt, I began my wandering path of an art career - but that's a story for another day. While teaching elementary art, I co-authored the acclaimed Art Works program and facilitated it's use in districts across the United States. At The Studio, kids classes take center stage. Presently there are new projects on the drawing board, paintings at the easel and clay beckoning to be made into some kind of wonderful. Every piece created leads to an idea for another project, and on and on it goes.
