We enjoyed a wonderful summer at The Studio, and are gearing up for our Fall 2026 classes and workshops. Stay tuned for new and current offerings to be posted mid August, with classes to begin mid-September.

So WHAT do we DO here at The Studio? You may assume that we play all day, and you just may be right about that.
The Studio offers engaging, inspiring and most importantly FUN, fine art programs for children, teens & adults. You’ll find guided painting & art parties, ceramic painting, hand-built pottery making, home school & after school classes for elementary students and teens.

Consider The Studio for a private event tailored to your special occasion or group outing. Make a Studio date with family & friends during our ceramic painting hours on most Saturdays. To plan an event such as a birthday party, a scout badge workshop or a private sip & paint, simply call us to discuss your ideas.

The Studio is your best stop to find the world renowned paints and sundries crafted by our famous friend, Annie Sloan. We brought this specialty line to Northern Illinois decorative painters over 17 years ago. Reach out for information, how-to instruction, color consultation, and inspiration. We are no longer stockists for the lovely Iron Orchid Decorative products, but still offer products from seasons recently past. These offering include heavily discounted transfer and inlay designs, stamps, moulds and tools to embellish and beautify your projects. Great deals on IOD abound, so pop in and browse our discounted stash.

A special thanks to our parents who entrust their children to our care each week. It’s truly a joy to work with them at the art table. We appreciate all of our Studio patrons who support and enrich The Studio experience. You help to make this little art place as wonderful as it can be.
