Play with Clay 2 day Workshop
TH 1/2 10-Noon & TH 1/9, 10-11:30am, Fee $50 , Max #12
Create your own pottery pieces using REAL clay from the earth. With our expert guidance, you’ll make cool clay projects and learn techniques such as pinch pot, coil and slab. In the first class, we’ll make the projects. In the second class, we’ll paint them up with special paints. Wonderful things made with our hands become family keepsakes! Your claywork will be fired in our kiln twice before ready to go home. Expect pick up the week following the second class.
Painted Pottery Workshop
FR 1/3, between the hours of 9 and 1:00, Fee $25
Pick a piece to paint, sparkle and shine with our rainbow assortment of fun hues. We have fun figurines, cute animals, fairy houses, gnomes, and useful items like mugs, bowls plates and vases. Your painted and kiln fired pottery will be ready to take home the following week. Your fee depends on the pieces you pick to paint, for example, $20-30 will cover the cost of many of our items. Drop in or drop off with family and friends to pick & paint your favorite pottery piece. All materials provided, fees will be dependent on the pottery chosen.
M 1/6, 10-11:30 Windy Snowman Workshop max 16, Fee $25
Draw and paint a scenic view where winter winds blow crystal snowflakes to delight the eye. Your festive snowman will look dimensional when you learn and apply our artistic tips and tricks! All materials provided. Fee $25
T 1/7, 1-2:30pm Northern Lights Landscape max 16, Fee $25
Northern pines and rolling snow covered hills create a dramatic silhouette to the backdrop of your vibrant winter sky. We’ll use acrylic on canvas as we learn to use a variety of artist brushes and brushstrokes to convey your desired effects. Additional sparkle will be available for the final flourish!

Our cheerful friend, the vibrant cardinal comes to life in this pretty winter painting using both soft pastel and watercolor techniques. A pen and ink feather drawing rounds out the workshop.
