Before Dinner Demo by David
Join us Saturday Feb. 20th to watch David R Becker paint a watercolor demonstration of a painting that shows how he works in the studio on Hot Press Paper. The Date is Saturday, February 20th Arrival time is from 4:30 to 5:00pm. A Surprise Demonstration/Show will start off the evening DEMO STARTS AT 5:00PM and will go until 6:30. Complimentary beverages will be served. After the demo, you and your friends can head out to dinner at one of the many wonderful restaurants in McHenry. We recommend Bimbos

Mixed Media Collage Explorations with artist Kathy LaRocco
February 25 & 26, Thursday and Friday evening 7-9 p.m. $55
Guided Abstract
Create an abstract collage using hand altered papers and water soluble oil pastels. Kathy will demonstrate techniques and provide inspirational samples to view. The art making process will be guided and a theme suggested. A finished piece will be taken home.

March 25 & 26, Thursday and Friday evenings 7-9 p.m. $55
Abstract Landscape
Create an abstract landscape on canvas board using "spring" to guide our color palette and focal image. Parameters will be suggested and a finished work will be taken home.

Triglyph Abstract
This is a three night workshop. Spend one night making altered papers for the abstract work. The second and third nights well be spend creating 4 x 4 inch abstracts suitable for framing. Work alongside Kathy to discover exciting ways to creating expressive artworks. The project will be guided and a theme suggested.  

February 10th 4-5 p.m. Valentine Mug Workshop! $15
Spend the hour creating a special hand and heart keepsake mug and make a "lovely" painting too! Mugs will be ready for Valentines Day gift giving.

February 15th 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.   Winter Olympics Workshop $20
No School and not a thing to do...spend your day at The Studio! Come dig into paints and pastels to create your own winning masterpieces. Guided projects and instruction by Mrs. Tami McMillian.

February 15th 1 - 4 p.m. Ceramic Bisque Open Studio
What better way to spend a chilly winter afternoon than at The Studio painting ceramics! Pick a piece and add your own personality and pizazz with paints. Studio fee $8 plus the price of bisque.
